Sheikh Taufik Al-Bouthi: The Resistance and the Struggle of Muslims against Zionists Is a Necessity
Beirut, MINA – Chairman of the Syrian Islamic Scholar Association Sheikh Muhamad Taufik al-Bouthi has said that resistance and struggle on Muslim soil is a necessity in the fight against the Zionists with all its conspiracy.
Syria as an example of how the Zionists divide and tarnish the face of Islam in the world.
He made the remarks at an international conference of Islamic clerics of Palestinian defenders on Wednesday (1/11) Beirut, Lebanon.
“Fighting for Palestinian independence as well as suppressing extremist groups in the name of Islam is equally important, because Muslims are always the victims,” he said, as reported by MINA reporters from the conference room.
Al – Bouthi said, as the Syrian, Yemeni, Iraqi and Lebanese people fight for the security of their country, they are fighting for Palestinian independence because their enemy is actually Israel with America behind it.
He further explained, Palestine is a central issue of Muslims, because it is a very important issue Zionists never stop turning Muslims away from their focus on Palestine.
“Israel is very determined to capture the full land of Palestine, but Muslims will be more persistent when they realize that Palestine is the main source of security for Muslims in the world,” he said.
According to MINA journalist, this conference was attended by at least 1500 participants from 80 countries of Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
The Indonesian delegation who attended the conference was the Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) who became the only Asian country at the conference.(L/R04/RS5)
