Salfit,  6 Rabi’ul Akhir 1438/5 January 2017 – Local sources revealed Thursday morning that bulldozers of the Israeli settlers leveled Palestinian lands in two towns in Salfit governorate.

The sources said that the bulldozing works took place in grasslands and land lots planted with olive trees along with other kinds of trees in Al-Muhalila site to the west of Kafr Al-Dik town and Bab Al-Burj area to the east of Deir Ballout town, west of Salfit, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

Researcher Khaled Maali opined that the leveling works are aimed at expanding Israeli illegal settlements in the area.

25 settlement outposts are being expanded to variable degrees starting from Nablus city to Kufr Qasem lands in 1948 Occupied Palestine which threatens the dream of establishing the Palestinian State, he highlighted.  (T/R04/R05)
