SAUDI UNDER KING SALMAN TO SERVING PILGRIMS
Jeddah, 6 Dlulhijjah 1436/20 September 2015 (MINA) – Saudi Minister of Hajj Dr Bandar Hajjar stressed that Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman is devoted to serving the pilgrims and providing all potentials for them in order to perform their Hajj rituals easily and comfortably.
“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman directed us to exert all efforts to provide all services and support to the pilgrims in order to perform Hajj rituals easily and conveniently,” the minister said.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr Hajjar said serving the pilgrims is the Hajj Ministry’s aim. He pointed out that the Kingdom has carried out mega projects in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites, adding that other projects are still being implemented.
Hajjar noted that preparations for Hajj season start from the date of the last pilgrim to leave the Kingdom, by mid- Muharram each year, International Islamic News Agency (IINA) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
He explained that the ministry starts various coordinating and organizing preparations with the heads and officials of Hajj delegations in the Islamic countries, in addition to the continuous coordination with the heads of National Tawafa Establishments and the other Hajj-related Service Establishments, including the United
Agents’ Office in Jeddah, the National Adilla Office in Madinah, and the Office of the General Cars Syndicate in Makkah, which issues authorizations to field service offices to transport pilgrims.
Hajjar called on the pilgrims to abide by the regulations and instructions that guarantee attainment of the lofty goal, which is an accepted Hajj, reminding that there should neither be obscenity, nor depravity in the pilgrimage, true to the saying of the Prophet (PBUH), “Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit any obscenity or commit any evil will go back (free of) sin as on the day his mother bore him”.
The minister asked Allah the Almighty to bestow His favors upon the pilgrims, and wished them acceptable Hajj and safe return to their home countries. (T/Imt/R03)
