Ramallah, MINA – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received Saudi Arabian Football Team at presidential headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Sunday, October 13.
Abbas praised the visit and stressed that it embodies historical relations between Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia will match with Palestine on Tuesday, October 15 as part of the World Cup Qualifiers.
The match will be held at Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium in the city of Al-Ram, West Bank, north of Jerusalem.

Abbas stressed the historical and religious ties between the two countries, affirming Saudi Arabia’s attitude towards Palestinian issue.
He welcomed the Saudi team, stating that “we are very happy, you are in your land. “It’s true this is a football problem, but your arrival is a pleasure for Palestinian people,” he said. (T/Sj/P2)
