President Abbas Leaves Hospital in Good Health
Ramallah, MINA – President Mahmoud Abbas left on Monday Istishari Hospital in Ramallah where he was getting treatment for lung infection and said that he will resume work on Tuesday.
The president told reporters as he walked out of the hospital that he is in good health, WAFA reported.
“I leave hospital today in good health and will resume my work beginning tomorrow,” he said.
He thanked the Palestinian people for constantly asking about his health while he was in hospital all last week. He also thanked the hospital doctors and staff for the good work they do in helping the Palestinian people
The President said, “I thank all our people everywhere who asked about me and I tell them that God willing the health of the country is good and we will reach our goal by achieving the independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. If the issue of Jerusalem has gotten us into hospital, we want to leave hospital to make Jerusalem the capital of the State of Palestine.”(R/R04/RS5)
