Palestinians Scholars Third Conference Kick Off In Istanbul
Istanbul, 6 Jumadil Awwal 1438/4 February 2017 (MINA) – The Palestinian Scholars Association in the Diaspora third annual conference kicked off Friday in Istanbul with the participation of a large number of Islamic and Arab scholars.
The conference discusses the developments of the Palestinian Question as well as in Occupied Jerusalem in addition to other issues highlighting the role of scholars in supporting the Palestinian Cause, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.
Chairman of the Association Dr. Abdul Ghani al-Tamimi along with the Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Fayed Mustafa as well as Head of the Religious Affairs in Turkey Mehmet Gormez delivered speeches at the conference. They all hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their resistance for achieving liberation.
Sheikh Al-Tamimi asserted that the Palestinian Question is an Islamic cause that demands triggering the Arab and Islamic scholar’s role to support the cause until liberating Palestine.
The scholars stressed that they will continue to call on the free world to support Palestinians and the Palestinian Question as well as to reject the Israeli occupation.
The association conference will continue for two days with participants from a number of Arab and Islamic states.(T/R04/RE1)
