Ramallah, 16 Sha’ban 1438/13 May 2017 (MINA) – Israeli forces Friday afternoon shot dead a Palestinian as they forcefully quelled a march in solidarity with hunger-striking Palestinian prisoners in Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah, WAFA reported.
Clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters at the village entrance as protesters marched in solidarity with hunger-striking prisoners, who entered their 26th day without food.

Forces fired live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters at protesters, critically injuring one with a live round in the chest and causing many other to suffocate.
The Palestinian man was rushed to a Salfit hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. (T/RS5/RS1)
