OIC Chief Condemns Terrorist omb Attack in Kabul
Jeddah, MINA – Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Yousef Al-Othaimeen condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks perpetrated against the innocent people in the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, which killed nearly 100 people and injured hundreds of others.
Extending his solidarity with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism, the chief offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, government, and people of Afghanistan on the tragic loss of lives and wished early recovery to the injured people, UNA reported.
The secretary general expressed his firm rejection of these terrorist acts, which violate the sanctity of human life, and reiterated the principled position of the OIC against all forms of terrorism and extremism, which has emerged as a daunting threat to all member states and international peace and security.
Al-Othaimeen, once again, repeated his call for international solidarity in the fight against the scourge of terrorism.(R/R04/RE1)
