Beograd, MINA – Chair of Kuwaiti Parliament, Marzuq Al-Ghanim stressed that a neutral and silent attitude towards Israeli crimes against Palestinian people is the same as supporting Israel to continue its aggression.

He said it at 141st International Parliamentary Speech in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, with the theme: “The role of Parliament in strengthening international law, and its role in regional cooperation”, as quoted from Palestinian Information Center (Palinfo) on Wednesday, October 16.

Al-Ghanim said international silence increased despair and killed the hopes of a number of nations in the region, especially Palestinians.

He also questioned the hiding of clear examples of international law violations that have continued in a planned and organized manner from the past to the present.

“I am sure all those present here, from various geopolitical groups, will shine in their minds about the suffering of Palestinian people and the cruel Israeli occupation, because it has been going on for a long time,” he said.

He explained neutrality and silence in this context is not balance, but support for Israeli invaders to strengthen themselves and continue their crimes.

“All humanitarian and peace activists agree that Israel’s actions are a clear example of violations of human rights,” concluded Al-Ghanim. (T/Sj/P2)
