According to Edi, the casting process is carried out after going through the demolition of old concrete column, preparation “erection” or column assembly, and installation of column formwork. Each stages must be passed with a fairly complete technical examination.

At the same time, Edy said that the casting work was colored by hustle and bustle of the sound of unmanned aircraft and Israeli F16 aircraft in the Gaza’s sky, and even occasionally there was the sound of a loud bang.

“Nevertheless, Indonesian Hospital volunteers remain focused on working to complete the casting target today,” Edy said.

There are 29 Indonesian volunteers working in the addition of two more floors of Indonesia Hospital.

Edy revealed that working in conflict areas is different from building in ordinary regions. According to Edy, there is art in building in areas such as the Gaza Strip, including the availability of material and uncertain security conditions in the Gaza Strip as well as the situation of border closure that has no clarity.
