King Salman Serves 1,000 Palestinian Martyrs Families for Hajj

Riyadh, MINA – King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud from Saudi Arabia ordered his officials to deliver 1,000 Palestinian martyrs families to Mecca for the Hajj next month.

In his order, King Salman stated that the 1000 Palestinians will be part of the King’s Saudi Guest Program for Hajj and Umrah.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Da’wah and Guidance, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, expressed his appreciation for King Salman’s policy. “(He) expressed his respect for King Salman’s generous attitude towards the Palestinian state and his brothers,” Arab News reported on Monday, July 8.

Al-Asheikh said that his ministry would work quickly to carry out King Salman’s orders. The ministry immediately followed up the process of traveling the prospective Palestinian pilgrims through its embassies in Egypt and Jordan.

The ministry will also complete all the procedures needed to travel for 1,000 Palestinians to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on private flights, and offer services to help them perform the Hajj. (T/Sj/P2)
