ISRAELI DRONES BEGIN TARGETING INDONESIAN HOSPITAL IN GAZA
Bayt Lahiya, 26 Ramadan 1435/24 July 2014 (MINA) – Israeli Occupation regime forces Drones (unmanned aircraft) began targeting Indonesian Hospital located in Bayt Lahiya, northern Gaza.
Muqarrabin al-Fikri, Chairman of Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) Branch of Gaza reported that Israeli drone launched rocket and hit Indonesian hospital in Gaza, on Wednesday afternoon.
“The drone’s attack made two big holes in the walls of Indonesian Hospital and destroyed AC (air conditioner) in the mortuary,” Fikri told Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA), Thursday afternoon.
Fikri, volunteer from Madrasah Al-Fatah Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java, who has been 1.5 years in the Gaza Strip was somewhat late in reporting the incident because electricity power in Gaza was cut off since early Thursday morning.
He along with other volunteers knew the incident after they went out from the Indonesian Hospital. They hided inside the Hospital during Israeli bombardment yesterday.
According to him, the drones also launched rockets targeting bulldozer about 15 meters from main building of the hospital, where 19 Indonesian volunteers were there.
“I see with my own eyes, how the bulldozer hit by Israeli rocket,” said Fikri.
Most of electrical power in Gaza was destroyed by Israeli occupation airstrike since beginning of Ramadan.
Fikri said that he has prepared stock of basic needs for next two months.
MER-C volunteers distribute food and funds for victims of Israeli occupation military aggression in the midst of sound of bombs now.
The aid comes from Indonesian people for citizens in Gaza as form of love and brotherhood among Muslims.
According to him, aid from Indonesian people was distrbuted since Thursday ago. It was primarily for injured victims and orphans of Israeli occupation aggression. (L/K03/P02 /Syt/E01)
