ISRAEL PREPARES GROUND STRIKES TO GAZA
Gaza, 10 Ramadan 1435/8 July 2014 (MINA) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered its army to prepare for a possible ground attacks in the Gaza Strip in meeting in the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv, a senior Israeli official said.
Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Chief of Staff Lieut. Gen. Benny Gantz and Shin Bet Chief Yoram Cohen attended the meeting, along with other defense officials, Israeli Hareetz cited by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
“The prime minister instructed the army to be ready to go all in. A ground offensive is on the table,” the unknown official said.
Since early hours of the day, the US-made F16 fighter planes attacked the residence of Mohammed Al-obadalah in Al-Qororoh area, east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, at 1:52 am local time causing total blackout in the area.
The strikes also hit the residences belonging to Mourad Elian in Jabaliya north of Gaza Strip and Al Za’abut family in Al Zaytoon neigbourhood, as well as other areas.
About an hour ago, a car civilians were targeted by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City, where, according to the Ministry of Health four people killed.
Not long from that incident, three residents killed in Israeli air strikes in Jabaliya, north of Gaza, they were identified as Muhammad Rajab, Sha’ban Jomah Amjad, Khadr Abu Jabal.
To handle the ongoing attacks, the resistance movement in Gaza fired at least 85 rockets into southern occupied land.(T/P03/P04)
