Israel Kills 54 Palestinians in 2019
Gaza, MINA – Israeli occupation forces have killed 54 Palestinians in Gaza, including 12 children and four women since the beginning of 2019, Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights reported on Thursday.
Al-Mezan said Israeli occupation forces injured 3,723 Palestinians in Gaza during the same period, including 1,226 children and 179 women.
Israeli occupation forces used “deadly force” especially when they cracked down on peaceful protesters at the Great March of Return, which has been held every Friday since March 30, 2018 in along Gaza’s eastern border.
MEMO reported that at the same time, Israeli occupation captured 88 Palestinians from Gaza Strip, including 22 children.
Meanwhile, Israeli Navy committed 207 violations against Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Gaza, including the detention of 28 fishermen and injuring 15 others.
Occupation forces also seized 11 fishing vessels, damaged nine others, and carried out 27 invasions in Gaza Strip and destroyed dozens of dunams on agricultural land. (T/Sj/P2)
