Israel Closes Again Al-Amud Gate of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem, MINA – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday morning, again closed Al-Amud Gate of Al-Aqsa Mosque and arrested seven children from city of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Jabal Al-Mukaber, southeast of Jerusalem occupied.

Al-Amud Gate is the most famous old gate of Jerusalem, Alray reported.

Israeli occupation police claimed that the closure of Al-Amud Gate, because there was a suspicious institution in the area.

Such claims are often became reason for the closing of gate more than once.

Israeli occupation forces also arrested a student after hitting him around Al-Amud Gate in occupied Jerusalem and turning it into a detention center in holy city.

At the same time, Israeli occupation forces arrested seven children, after storming their homes in the cities of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Jabal Mukaber, southeast of Jerusalem.

Local sources revealed that the seven children are Khader Mohammed Odeh (13 years), Jihad Jawad Abu Roum (15 years), Sultan Sarhan (14 years), Mohammed Jawad Abu Roum (14 years) and Muhannad Zeid Mashahra (17 years) , Uday Adnan Ghaith (17 years) and Omri Suleiman Mashahira (17 years).

Sources added that Israeli occupation forces sent the seven children into detention center and investigation, “Muskobiya” in the west of occupied Jerusalem, and another occupation on Salahudin Street. (T/Sj/R04)
