Indonesian VP Awarded As “Father of World Peace Inspiration for Youth”
Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla is considered to have an important role for peace in several regions of Indonesia such as Poso and Aceh, as well as abroad.
For his contribution to peace, Indonesia Youth Forum awarded him as the “Father of World Peace Inspiration for Indonesian Youth” at the Vice President’s Office, Jakarta on Friday, October 11.
Kalla advised that the conflict must be done with a brave, sincere, neutral soul, and have the insight to know the root of the problem.
“All decisions in creating peace have risks. However, we still have the courage to determine solutions that benefit all parties. We also have to maintain the dignity of all parties to the conflict, “Kalla said.
Furthermore, Kalla also advised that all truly maintain a positive attitude towards all issues.
“Read as many books and references as possible and find out the root of the problem, then we can be neutral and take appropriate actions in resolving a conflict,” the Vice President’s message.
Meanwhile, Ibnu Munzir Center Council of Jenggala said that the Vice President had an important role for peace in several areas such as Poso and Aceh, also abroad, including the Philippines, Myanmar, and Afghanistan.
“The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia is a conciliator, or we are right to say a figure in reconciling conflicts,” Ibnu said. (T/Sj/P2)
