Gaza, 11 Sya’ban 1436/29 May 2015 (MINA) – A delegation from Hamas’s public relations department in Khan Younis district on Thursday visited a number of government institutions to promote relations with them.

The delegation led by senior Hamas official Kamal al-Najjar visited the general directorate of the police in Khan Younis and met with Colonel Husam Shahwan, director of the district, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Najjar, in a brief speech, congratulated the police on its new headquarters and expressed his Movement’s appreciation of the efforts made by the Gaza police to maintain security and order in the besieged Strip.

He noted that the visit came within the framework of his Movement’s keenness on promoting its relations with government and civil society institutions, and supporting public services.

The delegation also paid similar visits to the headquarters of the internal security and the general directorate of primary health care in Khan Younis. (T/P006/R03)
