Beirut, 1 Safar 1437/12 November 2015 (MINA) – The Hamas Movement has deplored the suicide bombings that rocked on Thursday the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut, expressing its solidarity with the Lebanese people.

“We denounce the crime that happened against our Lebanese people in Burj el-Barajneh area,” Hamas stated in a press release on Thursday, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The Movement also offered its deepest condolences to the Lebanese people, their leadership, and all political forces and groups in the country.

Hamas reiterated its keenness on Lebanon’s civil peace and its rejection of any act of terror against its people.

A double suicide attack yesterday in a residential area of southern Beirut has claimed the lives of at least 43 people and injured 239 others, according to the Lebanese health ministry. (T/P08/R07)
