HAMAS ONLY USES 10 PERCENT FORCE AGAINST ZIONIST REGIME FORCES
Gaza, 12 Syawwal 1435/8 August 2014 (MINA) – One of the commanders of Hamas military wing, Izzuddin al-Qassam Brigades, said that his side just used 10 percent of their military power in war against Israeli occupation regime forces in 2014.
“We have enough reserves. The number is larger than estimated by enemy. We just use 10 percent of what we have,” said Abu Laith told The Times newspaper as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting, Thursday.
Furthermore, Abu Laith said that if negotiation (Palestine-Israel) in Cairo failed, the fighters were ready to carry out long battle. They also would target other cities in Israel.
Palestinian fighters gave surprises to the world community in their battle with the Israeli occupation regime forces this year. The fighters’ action made the world community stunned.
Although Israeli occupation regime forces launched attacks against the Gaza Strip from all directions, including air, land, and sea, the Palestinian resistance was able to show great strength with their new weapons. The weapons were the results of production by local engineers. They claimed that the weapon made in Gaza.
Some surprises from Fighters’ weapons in the 2014 war
Al-Qassam brigades announced that They had launched latest R160 rockets reaching Haifa (165KM) in early July. It was better than previous rockets such as M75 that reached the distance of only 25 KM.
The resistance movement also revealed their first launching of unmanned aircraft (drones) to public on July 14, 2014 . The drone reached Tel Aviv, capital of Israel.
The first drones named Ababil 1 was made by local engineers. Al-Qassam introduced three models of drones with usefulness and advantages respectively in their first launchings.
Al-Qassam made drone with model A1A for monitoring and It was not inferior to Israeli drones made of US. They also made drones with type A1B that could launch missiles. The last type was A1C that could explode by driving itself to target (a kamikaze drone).
Al-Qassam revealed their first sniper weapon with 14.5-caliber named Al-Ghoul On August 3, 2014. The name was from the name of its maker, Adnan al-Ghoul. He was a prominent engineer in al-Qassam force who died in 2004.
According to a source received by MINA’s correspondent in Gaza, there would be other surprises from al-Qassam and other fighters who were struggling in land of their ancestors. (L/K01/Syt/E01)
