Great March of Return Action in Gaza Border Continues
Gaza, MINA – The Great March of Return action on the Gaza-Israel border continued on Friday, August 30 demanding the return of Palestinian lands that are controlled by Israel authority.
At least, 87 Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets belonging to Israeli forces.
Israeli soldiers who guarded the Gaza-Israel fence fired rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians who had gathered in many camps along the border, injuring 87 Palestinians, including a journalist and medical officer.
According to Wafa’s on Saturday August 31, some of the injured were taken to hospital and others treated at field hospitals.
More than 300 Palestinians have been killed and around 17,000 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of Great March of Return action on the Gaza border on March 30, 2018.
The weekly protest called for the lifting of Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip and the return of Palestinian refugees to their ancestral homes in pre-1948 Palestine. (T/Sj/P2)
