Gaza: About 830 Housing Units Destroyed or Damaged in Recent Attacks

Gaza, MINA – At least 830 housing units sustained damage or were completely destroyed during the last Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, according to an initial report by the ministry of public works and housing.

According to the report, 130 housing units were reduced to rubble and 700 others were partially damaged during the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza.

However, field crews from the ministry are still working on collecting information on more housing units that sustained destruction or damage before providing final statistics in this regard, PIC reported.

Meanwhile, The Palestinian ministry of education said that 13 schools sustained considerable damage as a result of the recent Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement by the ministry, the Israeli attacks caused widespread damage to windows, doors and walls of 13 schools.

The ministry strongly denounced Israel’s attacks on civilian areas in Gaza and appealed to the international community to hold Israel accountable for its crimes and violations in Gaza.(T/R04/P2)
