Jakarta, 19 Jumadal Awwal 1437/February 27, 2016 (MINA) – Czech Republic Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek during his bilateral trip to Indonesia, took time to visit the Jakarta Cathedral and Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta in order to learn tolerance in the country.
After the tour, Zaoralek expressed his impresses with the consistency of Indonesia in promoting the values of peace and tolerance globally.
“This is not a situation that can be encountered in other countries, for example in the Middle East. This is an example also for us, “he told reporters in Jakarta, Friday.
He also said that Indonesia could be a good example for other countries in Europe in promoting the issue. Unlike Indonesia, European people are still afraid of stereotype of particular religion, something that should be changed, although not easy, he said.
