The pilgrim, who is 104 years old, shall be included in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program, in recognition of her frail health conditions and to provide here with full care, in line with the royal instruction.

The centenarian and her two companions received a warm welcome at the Jeddah King Abdulaziz International airport, when they arrived last week.

Interviewed by the Saudi TV, Maryam thanked the Saudi officials for their support.

Most Indonesian pilgrims are elderly, and their age poses health risks.
