Asian NGO’s to Attend Intl Conference Of Islamic Media In Jakarta

Kuala Lumpur, 7 Sha’ban 1437/15 May 2016 (MINA) – The Participants of Non Government Organization (NGO) in Asia on Tuesday, in Kuala Lumpur stated welcomes and ready to attend the International Conference of Islamic Media (ICIM) in Jakarta on 25-26 May.

The Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA)’s correspondent in Kuala Lumpur, Dudin Shobaruddin, reported that the delegation of Indonesia, Agus Sudarmaji, who is also Chairman of the Aqsa Working Group (AWG) in his speech invited all NGOs which concern to Palestine to attend the ICIM, as an effort to support the liberation of Al-Quds and the independence of Palestine.

“It is important for all the NGOs to unite to get maximum strength to get the help of Allah through media conferences,” said Agus, quoting Surah Ali Imran verse 103.

The ICIM conference is organized by the MINA (Mi’raj Islamic News Agency) in cooperation with the National News Agency Antara, Radio and TV Silaturahim, Republika, MER-C Humanitarian Agency, Aqsa Working Group (AWG) also supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics.

The committee of ICIM scheduled some international speakers. They are Imaam Shamsi Ali (Founder Nusantara Foundation; USA),  Daud Abdullah (Director of Middle East Monitor; England), Ahmad Shoyyan (Editor in Chief of Al-Bayan magazine; Saudi Arabia), and Jamil Jababat (chief editor of the Palestinian News Agency WAFA; Palestine), Abdul Malik (Nigeria), Cik Gu Azmi (Malaysia) and Meidyatama Suryodiningrat (President Director of Antara, Indonesia).(L/P008/R03)
