As Three Gaza Rockets Launched, Israelis Panic

Gaza, MINA – Israeli Occupation Forces on Saturday (7/12) night claimed as three Palestinian resistance rockets fired at Israeli settlements on the outskirts of Gaza Strip.

“Following up on the warning report issued in the outskirts of Gaza Strip and Sderot, said three rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel,” an Israeli military report was quoted by Palestinian Information Center (Palinfo) on Sunday.

The Israeli military also claimed that the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system successfully intercepted two of the three rockets. Sirens were heard in Israeli settlements on the outskirts of Gaza Strip on Saturday night.

Israeli media reported that there was panic among Jewish settlers who lived on the outskirts of Gaza Strip after the sirens sounded.

Recently, Israeli media has revealed new data about Palestinian resistance rockets which was fired from the Gaza Strip at the Israeli entity.

Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot said according to data from the Israeli intelligence agency “Shin Bet”, as many as 2,600 rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory during 2018 and 2019.

As for 2019, according to Aharonot, around 1,500 rockets have been launched from the Gaza Strip to Israeli territory. (T/Sj/P2)
