Anies-Al-Shun to Restrengthen Relationships Between Jakarta and Al-Quds

Jakarta, MINA – DKI Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan on Wednesday July 3 met with Palestinian Ambassador Zuhair Al-Shun in City Hall, Central Jakarta.

Anies said that this was done to re-strengthen the relations between Jakarta and Al-Quds Al-Syarif which had established Sister City cooperative relations since October 2007.⁣

“To rejuvenate the relations between the two cities, yesterday the City Hall received Palestinian Ambassador His Excellency Dr. Zuhair Al-Shun, “he said in his Instagram.

He also revealed that the meeting discussed several potential inter-city cooperation, such as increasing rescue capacity, fire fighting, humanitarian assistance and cultural arts.

Anies also emphasized that Jakarta Provincial Government will always support the commitment of Republic of Indonesia to the struggle for Palestinian independence. (T/Sj/P2)
