THREE AMERICAN MUSLIM STUDENTS SHOT DEAD IN NORTH CAROLINA

North Carolina, 21 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/11 February 2015 (MINA) – Three American Muslim students have been killed in a shooting incident in the US state of North Carolina, according to police officials.

The incident happened in an apartment near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus on Tuesday, Press TV quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The victims are Deah Shaddy Barakat, his wife Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and her sister Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha.

Police arrested the shooter, identified as Craig Stephen Hicks.

The suspect, who is being held in the Durham County Jail, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
