Pinch of Land and Olive of A-Aqsa for Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) as A Sign of Trust
Jakarta, MINA – Imaam Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Yakhshallah Mansur received souvenirs in the form of pieces of Olive leaves and a pinch of Al-Aqsa Mosque land from a Palestinian Al-Aqsa’s guard and activist (Murabithah), Zeina Amr, as a sign that she entrusted Al-Aqsa to Indonesian Muslims to be freed from Israeli occupation.
“These olive-leaf souvenirs are taken directly from the east side of the Al-Aqsa Mosque yard by Zeina Amr as a sign that Indonesian Muslims are also obliged to fight for the return of Al-Aqsa to the lap of Muslims,” Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur told MINA, Sunday (1/6).
Zeina Amr is one of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Murabithah activists who consistently campaigned for the release of Al-Quds from Israeli occupation. She was arrested several times and imprisoned by the Israeli authorities.
But after she released, Zeina always called on the international community, especially Muslims, to help fight for the liberation of Al-Aqsa.
Zeina Amr handed over the souvenir to Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) during the Palestinian conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last December 2018.
Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) as a forum of Muslims unity with their Imam, Yakhsyallah Mansur is consistently fighting and doing campaign for the liberation of Al-Aqsa, both in Indonesia and internationally.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is currently in the grip of Zionist Israel. Muslims, especially the Palestinian people, have difficulty in carrying out worship in that place, even though it is a Muslim-owned mosque.
Zionist Israel deliberately made it difficult for Muslims to be able to pray and worship in mosques with very strict examinations, limiting the age of worshippers and hours of visits.
“Muslims everywhere are obliged to fight for the return of Al-Aqsa to the bosom of Muslims because it is ordered in the Qur’an,” said Imaam Yakhshallah.
“If we lost items, of course we try our best to get our items back. Now this Masjid Al-Aqsa was captured by Zionist Israel, so it is our duty to make every effort to fight for the return of Al-Aqsa to the bosom of the Islamic ummah,” he added.
Imaam Yakhshallah believed that Muslims would one day liberate Al-Aqsa, as Sayyidina Umar bin Khattab and Saladin Al-Ayubi had freed Al-Aqsa from the grip of the Romans and Crusaders. (T/Ais/P2)
