Al-Aqsa Attacked, Muslim World Must Be United: Malaysian NGO
Kuala Lumpur, MINA – Eight Malaysian Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) called on all Muslims around the world to rise up condemning and organiziing struggle against the recent invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“The Muslim world cannot remain silent in this aggression and must respond strongly to the arrogance and breach of agreement with Jordanian authorities as the guardians of Al-Aqsa mosque,” said a joint statement received by MINA on Monday.
The joint statement came from MAPIM, MANAR, SHURA, Chair of Malaysian National Secretariat, President Ummah Care Malaysia, Director of International Assistance and Outreach, Coordinator of Endowments and Infaq Al Aqsa, and PERKEMA.
Muslims who carried out Eid Al-Adha prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday were attacked by Israeli forces and injured dozens of worshipers.
It waz a blatant disregard for holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and deliberate provocation by Israeli occupation forces during Eid Al-Adha celebration.
A video captured images of hundreds of Israeli soldiers in compound who firing tear gas and cruelly bringing worshipers into custody, witnessing as clear evidence of direct intimidation of the holy mosque and Muslim. (T/Sj/P2)
