Occupied Jerusalem, MINA – Muslim clerics in Occupied Jerusalem expressed on Wednesday their rejection of age restrictions imposed on worshipers entering al-Aqsa Mosque.
They said in a statement that these Israeli measures constitute a blatant violation of Muslims’ freedom of worship, calling on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the Mosque, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.
They added that Israel’s continued interference in al-Aqsa affairs will drag the entire region to undesirable consequences.
They affirmed that their legitimate rights are never negotiable under any circumstances, and demanded the Israeli authorities to return the keys of al-Magharbeh gate, stop settlers’ incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque and reverse all decisions preventing any Jerusalemite citizen from entering the Mosque.
