MEDICAL OFFICIALS : ZIONIST ISRAELI  SOLDIERS  SUFFER  SEVERE PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA

Gaza, 17 Shawwal 1435/13 August 2014 (MINA) –  Israeli occupation regime medical official sources revealed that the injured Israeli regime forces  in Gaza war suffered from psychological trauma  and nightmares. It caused medical  officials injecting drug for calming them down.

“Some Israeli occupation regime forces suffer minor physical injuries, but   they are suffering heavy psychological injury.  If a soldier or a dog from Aukadz unit (troop of  military dog) killed beside them, they will be very fearful,” said one of Israeli doctors who did  not  mention its name, Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA)’s  correspondent in Gaza reported.

According to soldiers’ families and other medical officials, their trauma was as  result of fierce clashes with the strong and brave Palestinian fighters at  Gaza  in less than two months.

Israeli occupation regime forces who suffered  trauma may be undergoing lifetime rehabilitation, Palestinian local media reported.

A doctor who  monitor treatment of the occupation regime soldiers said  that they also have to involve medical staffs who focus on psycho-social rehabilitation.

“The researchers and psychiatrists team work in parallel  and integrated way  in  the treatment of the traumatized soldiers,” the doctor added.
“Our children can not sleep because they are fearful of what have happened in the war,” said families of injured  soldiers reported by an Israeli online media.

An Israeli professor, Dana Margalit said  that the  injured soldiers needed psychotherapy process gradually and slowly. They should be placed away from  danger zone in order not to worsen their trauma.

Other medical officials also said that center of  rehabilitation have not accomodated Israeli occupation regime forces  with heavy injury. It was  because they are still being treated in several different hospitals. (L/ K01/Syt/E01)
