Jakarta, MINA – Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi expressed deep condolences over the death of an Indonesian citizen victim of a shooting action at mosque, Christchurch City, New Zealand.
According to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Retno immediately contacted the family of Muhammad Abdul Hamid (Lilik Abdul Hamid), an Indonesian citizen who died on Saturday evening, 16 March, .
During the conversation on the telephone connection, Foreign Minister Retno conveyed to Nina, the victim’s wife, a deep condolence to the Indonesian Government for the death. The government, through the Indonesian Ambassador, will provide assistance and assistance needed.
So far according to information obtained, as many as seven Indonesian citizens were on the scene when the horrific event took place. Four Indonesian citizens have been declared safe. While two wounded Indonesian citizens were hospitalized and then one died.
