Indonesian Under-16 Football Team Won 5-0 in Second Trial Match
Jakarta – The Indonesian Under-16 Football Team is increasingly compact and coherent after scoring 5-0 in their second trial match against Felda FCU-17 in a series of training camps in Malaysia.
According to the official PSSI website quoted by Antara News on Wednesday, Amiruddin Bagus scored three goals in the match held at MMU Stadium, Cyberjaya, Malaysia on Tuesday. The other two goals came from Amanar Abdillah and Muhammad Salman.
The positive trend of the Under-16 football team is continued after the first trial they won by a score of 4-0.
“This is our second victory in the trial. I think this result is because the players have already more unified and compact among each other. Teamwork is increasingly honed and seen.
“The goals also come from good positive and negative transition attack schemes,” said the coach head of Fakhri Husaini’s team after the match.
Fakhri admitted that the Felda team had given enough resistance and made it difficult for the Indonesian national team, but he deserved to be happy because his team could use and apply instructions of the coach well.
The Indonesian Under-16 football team will play their final test against Oman U-16 national team on 12 September.
“I hope this victory will be an injection of motivation for the players and hopefully these positive results can be maintained until in the AFC U-16 Cup later, “said Fakhri.
Meanwhile, at the AFC U-16 Cup tournament will be held in Malaysia later, Indonesia is at Group C with Iran, Vietnam, and India. The Indonesian football team will play their first match against Iran on Friday 21st September 2018 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, at 16.30 local time. (T/Sj/RS5)
