Around 21 of the settlers’ attacks were reported in occupied Jerusalem, while 14 attacks were documented in al-Khalil, according to the report, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
All of the reported attacks were carried out under Israeli forces and police protection, Arij pointed out.
The settlers’ attacks include break-ins into archaeological sites, damaging Palestinian-owned properties, uprooting and destroying trees, bulldozing agricultural lands, building illegal settlement units, and closing main roads and entrances to a number of towns.
25 of the assaults were carried out against archaeological and religious sites, while nearly 11 physical attacks were reported.
The monthly report said that during April Israeli authorities invited tenders for the construction of 77 new homes in the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Neve Ya’akov and Pisgat Ze’ev in the north of the capital city. Israeli government also declared tenders for the construction of 708 Jewish homes in Gilo settlement in Bethlehem.
