Jakarta, MINA – Philippines coach Sven-Goran Eriksson gave his views on Indonesian Football Team. The former of England national team coach considered the ‘Red and White’ team has bright future.

Indonesia was eliminated from the AFF 2018 Cup with a poor record. Hansamu Yama et al. only won four points as the results of one win and one draw, with the other two games losing.

The only victory was taken over Timor Leste. While in the final match against the Philippines which was held at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Sunday, Indonesia drew 0-0.

The Philippines played quite well by recording several golden opportunities. But goalkeeper Andritany Ardhiyasa was able to save the Indonesian goal.

Eriksson considered that Indonesia has good potential because it has many good young players. He believes the national team has the opportunity to become a big team.

“The Indonesian goalkeeper played very well, but in my opinion all the teams played well, almost all young players,” Eriksson told reporters after the game.

“So I can conclude that Indonesia has a bright and very good opportunity in the future. Indonesia plays well, like when Thailand against us,” he added. (T/Sj/RS5)
