Palestinian Official Hails Al-Ghanim’s Speech at IPU Conference

Saint Petersburg, MINA – Member of the Palestinian National Council Zuhair Sandouka praised the speech of Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim at the IPU’s 137th Conferemce in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Monday.

In a statement to KUNA, Sandouka said Al-Ghanim addressed the most important international parliamentary platform on the suffering of the Palestinian people by the Israeli occupation.

“This is not the first time that Al-Ghanim has taken the platform of an international conference to reiterate Kuwait’s support to the Palestinian rights and condemn the Israeli occupation and its practices against the Palestinian people,” he added.

He stressed that Al-Ghanim’s speech tackled all the Arab issues, especially the Palestinian cause, pointing out he impact that Al-Ghanim’s speech on the Arab, Islamic, European, African and other delegations.

Kuwaiti chief lawmaker addressed the IPU’s 137th Session in Saint Petersburg, Russia, early Monday, where he called on the IPU to practice ethical power and counter Israel’s violations. (T/RS5/RS1)
