Gaza, MINA – The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, released new footage showing a coordinated ambush against Israeli occupation forces in the Sheja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, Palestine chronicle reported.
According to the group, their fighters conducted a complex engineering operation involving the detonation of a previously planted explosive device left behind by Israeli forces, in addition to a penetrating bomb targeting Israeli military vehicles operating in the area.
The video footage captures the preparation stages, the arrival of Israeli vehicles at the ambush point, and the moment of detonation, with thick smoke billowing from the site.
In southern Gaza, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas also claimed responsibility for a double attack on Israeli forces stationed inside a house in Al-Qarara, east of Khan Yunis.

The attack was reportedly carried out on the morning of Tuesday, May 20, as part of ongoing resistance efforts in response to what the group calls Israeli crimes.
Days prior, the Al-Quds Brigades reported luring an Israeli engineering unit into a booby-trapped building east of Khan Yunis, detonating explosives once the unit was inside.
These attacks come amid the Israeli military’s continued implementation of its so-called Gideon’s Chariots plan, which involves deploying tens of thousands of reserve soldiers in a campaign aimed at achieving a decisive victory in Gaza. []
