He said it when giving a speech at the National Palestine Concern Seminar with the theme “Ukhuwah Islamiyah Solution to the Liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian Independence” at Vellya Hotel Hall, Ternate, North Maluku on Saturday, November 2.

“Thanks to Indonesian, I feel that the support is evenly distributed to all over of Indonesia because without the support of Indonesian state our desire would not be achieved,” said Zuhair.

He was pleased to meet and talk about Palestinians in the city of Ternate. Palestinian Ambassador’s visit to Ternate is the first visit.

In addition, he also reminded that on November 2 is exactly the day when Britain declared the Balfour Declaration.

“Today we mark the 102th anniversary of Balfour Declaration, a declaration that mentions the British attitude that Jews can occupy the land of Palestine into their land,” he said.

According to him, since then problems have begun to emerge and various oppression of arrests, expropriation of Palestinian lands have continued to this day.

“The problem of Palestinian people is not just their problem, but the problem of Palestine is our problem, Palestine is ours,” he said.

He further said that there was no choice for Palestinians to keep fighting for their land. (T/Sj/P2)
