Al-Quds, 26 Rajab 1437/04 May 2016 (MINA) – More than 1,800 settlers stormed Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound last month, a Palestinian NGO said Tuesday.
“At least 1,868 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli security forces in April,” Jawad Siyam, head of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, told Anadolu Agency.
“1,011 of them entered the holy place during the Jewish holiday of Passover,” he added.
Israel occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank during the 1967 Middle East War.
