AL-Arabi al-Jadeed paper quoted Magali as saying that the eight companies are working in exporting and importing agricultural products from Jordan to Israel and vies versa. The committee added them to the black list as a mean to force them to stop their normalizing activities with Israel.
The committee launches frequently campaigns to raise the Jordanian awareness to boycott these companies , pressuring them to stop their normalizing activities with Israel, Al-Ray Palestinian Media Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
The 40 international companies , enlisted in the black list, are considered important economic contribution for Israel, Magali called for boycotting them.
He revealed that some importers resort to fraud to import the Israeli products by clamming that they are Palestinian or European products.
Jordanian agricultural ministry has denied the importing of any Israeli fruits or products to the Jordanian local markets , however the committee stressed that the Israeli fruits are smuggled to Jordan via European ports.
The trade exchange between Jordan and Israel is estimated to $140 million per a year, which is significantly declined in the recent years thanks to the boycott campaign and the last Israel aggression against Gaza. (T/R05/P3)
