Jama'ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) Sets 1 Shawwal on Tuesday June, 4th, 2019

Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, MINA – Unifying forum of Muslims, Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) sets Eid al-Fitr or 1 Shawwal 1440 H falls on Tuesday June 4th 2019 M.

The determination was based on the results of Istbat session held at the Jama’ah Muslimin Headquarters (Hizbullah) in Cileungsi, Bogor Regency, early Tuesday, precisely at 1:15 a.m. local time.

“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, with devotion to Allah alone and as a form of responsibility to Muslims in performing worship related to the month of Ramadhan, Syawal and Dzulhijjah, then by observing the report of the Muslim pilgrimage Falak Observation Center on Ramadhan 1440 and the letter recommendations of Qodlo Assembly and the reports of rukyatul hilal from Gaza and Makkah, so with this, Imamul Muslimin decide the 1st day of Shawwal 1440 H on Tuesday, “said the Imaam Yakhshallah Mansur.

Imaam Yakhshallah asserted that the stipulation of 1 Shawwal 1440 H was in accordance with the sunnah and testimony of hilal in Tumair, Saudi Arabia, which stated the existence of the new moon.

Previously, Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) through the Falak Observation Center issued a statement that 1 Shawwal 1440H was expected to simultaneously fall on Wednesday June 5 2019.

However, it is noted, if any countries in more west of Makkah can see new moon then Shawwal / Eid al-Fitr 1440 H will fall on Tuesday. (TL/Sj/P2)
