ITALIAN COLLECTOR BUYS OUT BALINESE PAINTINGS IN BEIJING

Beijing, 15 Dzulhijjah 1436/29 September 2015 (MINA) – Paintings titled “Chinese Beauty” and “The Transition” by   I Nyoman Loka, a Balinese painting artist, were bought out by an Italian collector during an art exhibition themed “China Art” in Beijing, September 25 to 27.

Other work titled “Woman in Beauty”, a hand scratches by I Putu Bambang Juliarta, was also sold to a talented young painter who came from Henan Province, China, Antara News quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

“Of course, I am very happy and proud if our works are in great demand and purchased, especially by  a collector and art lover,” I Putu Bambang told Antara in Beijing, shortly before departing to Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday for the same  purpose.

Initiated by the Ministry of Culture of China, the ehxibition featured eight paintings by seven Indonesian artists.

Besides I Putu Bambang Juliarta and I Nyoman Loka, there are also five other painters, namely, I Wayan Redika, Labor Law Paramahita, Pande Nyoman Suta Wjaya Alit, Made Supena, and Imam Nurofiq.

Through the exhibition participants and art observers can display and enjoy a mixture of modern and classic aesthetic values through calligraphy, oil paintings and sculpture.

The art exhibition was participated by not only a number of home  galleries, art institutions, art associations and artists,  other works from Germany, Austria, Italy, and Russia were also on display. (T/P008/RO7)
