ZIONIST POLICE CLOSE AQSA MOSQUE TO WORSHIPERS UNDER 50

Al-Quds (Jerusalem), 6 Rajab 1435/6 May 2014 (MINA) – Israeli occupation police in Jerusalem on Monday forbade worshipers under the age of 50 from entering Al-Aqsa mosque, a local official said.

Azzam al-Khatib, director of the Al-Aqsa mosque, told Ma’an that police were stationed at the gates of the mosque compound, and that those under 50 were denied entry.

Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said he was not familiar with any closures, Ma’an News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) s reporting.

The compound, which sits just above the Western Wall plaza, houses both the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa mosque and is the third holiest site in Islam.

Al-Aqsa is located in East Jerusalem, a part of the internationally recognized Palestinian territories that have been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967.

Pakistan condemns storming of Al-Aqsa mosque

At the United Nations, Pakistan has condemned storming of Al-Aqsa mosque compounded by Israeli extremists. This was stated by Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Masood Khan, during a debate in Security Council on situation in the Middle East.

According to Pakistani newspaper, The Nation, Masood Khan said, debate in the Israeli Knesset on annexing Al-Haram Al-Sharif and provocative actions like disruption of Easter celebrations undermine peace, heighten tensions and further destabilize the region. Masood Khan termed the occupation of Palestinian lands by the Israeli forces illegal.

Al-Aqsa mosque had been constantly under attack during 2013 by priests of Jews, ministers of Israeli government and Zionist citizens; the information has been provided by Database of Halwa valley of Salwan.

Shabestan news agency reported with reference of Palestinian information center that the Database of Halwa valley revealed in a report that there are many records available about the violation of financial and social rights of Palestinian citizens of occupied Baitul Maqqdas.
This database revealed further that hundreds of Palestinians were arrested and tens of them were tortured, while tens of houses were destroyed and many became homeless and thousands of Palestinians were banned from entering Al-Aqsa mosque.

Thousands of fanatic Zionists attacked Al-Aqsa mosque with made-up excuses and doors of mosque were closed to Muslims and members of parliaments and authorities of Israel demanded divisionof Al-Aqsa mosque among Muslims and Jews.

This center reported that during last year, besides all actions taken Israeli government has arrested 450 children, 25 women and 450 men and most of them were arrested in the months of March, June and September. Zionists destroyed 33 residential houses and 15 under construction houses and trade centers.
