ISRAEL FACILITATES OWNERSHIP OF WEAPONS FOR SETTLERS
Al-Quds, 27 Muharram 1436/20 November 2014 (MINA) – Israeli Internal Security Minister, Ishaq Ahronovits, announced that the government would facilitate the ownership of weapons for settlers with the purpose of self-defense, after the killing of five Jewish settlers by two Palestinian fighters in Al-Quds city.
Ahronovits said: “In the next few hours I will ease regulations for Jews who want to carry a weapon with a note. This policy will be applied for those who have a permission to carry weapons such as a bodyguard of figures or retired officers.”
He added that the policy was expected to increase the awareness and readiness of settlers in facing terrorism.
In the same context, the minister also announced that they would restrict the movement of all Palestinian people in several regions in east al-Quds city.
Ahronovits also promised to flatten the house of the two Palestinian, Ghasan and Udai Abu Al Jamal. He said, “We will destroys homes of the terrorists, we will also deploy soldiers to tighten border security. We invite volunteers to keep the synagogues”. (L / P009/R03)
