Bogor, West Java, 03 Jumadil Akhir 1438/02 March 2017 (MINA) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo has conferred the First-class Honors Star of the Republic of Indonesia of Adipurna to the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud.

President Joko Widodo conferred the honors star to the King at the Presidential Palace in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday, after a bilateral meeting, Antara reported.

The honors star was given to the Saudi King based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22/TK/2017.

The honors star is given to appreciate the remarkable services of King Salman in various fields that are useful for the continuity of good relations of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, the highest honor also a reciprocal gratitude as earlier President Joko Widodo received Star of the Order of King Abdul Aziz Al-Saud Medal at the Palace of Al-Salam Diwan Malaki in Jeddah on September 12. (T/RS05/RS01)
