Indonesian Hospital Volunteers in Palestine Hold Long March “Ghazwah Fath Al-Aqsa”

Gaza, MINA – Dozens of Indonesian Hospital volunteers (RSI) in Gaza, Palestine held a 44 kilometers long march of “Ghazwah Fath Al-Aqsa” or “Love Al-Aqsa”, starting from Rafah Border in Southern Gaza to Eresh in Northern Gaza on Wednesday.

Volunteers come from Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School Network from various regions in Indonesia.

Site Manager of Phase II Development of Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, Edy Wahyudi, said that the long march participated by 29 Indonesian hospital volunteers in order to show the world that supports for the Palestinian community continued to flow.

“The path taken is the trail of Salahudin when freeing Al Aqsa from Egypt through Gaza. The road that was once passed called Salahudin Street, “Edy told MINA via text message on Thursday, August 15.

Edy said that the long march began with the dawn prayer congregation in Rafah, continued with reading Surah Al-Isra verses 1-7, recitation of Ghazwah Fath Al-Aqsa, reading of prayers, and releasing of participants.

“During the Long March with three breaks, weather conditions during the day were very hot. The condition of participants that some people had the cramp in the legs and stomach and there were also those who experienced swelling in the soles of feet, “he said.

Edy revealed that the Palestinian community was very enthusiastic about welcoming participants, including giving greetings, encouraging words and even giving hot coffee, hot tea, cold drinks, snacks, and ice cream to all participants.

He continued that some of the points from the long march were the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Independence of Palestine certainty from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. The liberation effort is a mustamirah worship that is not limited by time and space.

“As long as Muslims are united, help will surely come. The culmination of trials is a sign of close help. The freedom of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine is the obligation of all Muslims. Allah Akbar, Al-Aqsa Haqquna, “he said.
