Hundreds of Palestinian Perform Friday Prayers in Khan Al-Ahmar

Occupied Jerusalem, MINA – Hundreds of Palestinians performed Friday prayers in the village of Khan al-Ahmar, to the east of occupied Jerusalem, to express their solidarity with the village which is facing an imminent threat of demolition by Israeli authorities.

The Minister of Jerusalem’s affairs Adnan Husseini, Palestinian minister and chairman of the Commission Against the Wall and Settlements, Walid Assaf, the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, members of the PLO Executive Committee and religious and Christian figures were among the worshipers, Palinfo reported.

Following the prayers, the worshipers marched towards the main road to express their rejection of the Israeli move. The protesters waved the flag of Palestine and chanted slogans condemning Israel’s plan to demolish the village.
