HUNDREDS AUSTRALIAN RALLY SUPPORT PALESTINE

Sydney, 6 Muharram 1437/19 October, 2015 (MINA) – Around 300 people from different backgrounds gathered to show their support for Palestinians in Sydney Town Hall, Sydney, Australia, Saturday.

“They condemned Israel’s continuous acts of violence to the Palestinian people,” said Mona Abu Zalaf, as the organizer to Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

Abu zalaf said, the protesters marched on the streets of Sydney and called on Israel to immediately remove the ban on visiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque, condemned racial discrimination and also put an end to the atrocities that had occurred.

“Protesters called on Israel to immediately remove the ban on Al-Aqsa Mosque, withdraw from the occupied territories, end the siege on Gaza and ending the policy of apartheid,” he said.

Abu zalaf also asserted that the boycott movement, and Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) to immediately emphasize Israel to adhere to international law.

Mona Abu Salaf, who incorporated in Palestine Action Group Sydney, Monday (19/10) future will also be a meeting between members associated to discuss further events. The meeting will be conducted at the University of Technology Sydney. (L/roy/R03)
