Gaza, MINA – Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya met on Thursday afternoon a high-level Egyptian security delegation in the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian delegation was headed by General Intelligence officials Ayman Badi, Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, and Hammam Abu Zeid, PIC reported.
The visit came as part of the ongoing Egyptian efforts to achieve reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah movements and to restore calm in Gaza Strip.
Israeli authorities have escalated over the past week their threats to wage a new aggression on Gaza Strip.(R/R04/RS5)
