Gaza City, Palestine, MINA – A delegation of Hamas officials, headed by Mousa Abu Marzouk, will visit Moscow on Monday, spokesman of the Palestinian resistance group said Thursday.

“This visit aims at discussing the Palestinian situation and the ongoing [Israeli] occupation measures against the Palestinian people,” Hossam Badran told Anadolu Agency.
“During the visit, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the siege imposed there for the eleventh consecutive year will be discussed,” he added.
Badran went on to note that “everything Russia can offer through its position as a major country will be addressed during the visit”.
Russia is one of the few European countries maintaining ties with the Hamas resistance group, which is listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S, EU and Israel. (E/RS5/RS1)
